Together, they bring expertise in community development, education, communications, entrepreneurship, governance, and cultural promotion to advance the foundation’s mission and impact across Uganda and beyond.
Kisaale Magret
Team Lead
A business and marketing professional with qualifications in business entrepreneurship and business administration, currently pursuing chartered marketing studies . Experienced in account management, sales, marketing and the construction sector . With a passion for promoting culture innovation, tourism and business growth . Skilled in client relations , strategic in marketing and sales , business development and brand promotion.

Melanie Joyce Nabukwasi
Melanie is an award-winning social entrepreneur, communications specialist, and business development professional passionate about women and youth empowerment. Her work focuses on creating opportunities that inspire growth, leadership, and sustainable impact within communities. She is deeply committed to using communication, innovation, and entrepreneurship as tools to address social challenges and empower young people and women to reach their full potential.
With experience in communications, community engagement, digital storytelling, and project development, Melanie has worked on initiatives that promote leadership, skills development, culture, climate action, and social transformation. She is passionate about building meaningful partnerships, amplifying community voices, and driving solutions that create lasting change and economic empowerment.

Paul Weboya
Paul is a graduate from Makerere University Kampala with a bachelor’s degree of Arts in social sciences and a digital media and marketing enthusiast certified by trusted digital marketing firms like Hubspot, SEM Rush, Google among others. He is the founder and team leader of a Digital PR agency called Touchvert Uganda Limited. Paul is a seasoned marketer with a deep understanding of digital marketing strategies and tactics. He has worked in various digital marketing roles and gained significant experience in managing digital marketing campaigns and strategies for a variety of brands. He has a keen eye for detail and highly analytical on influencer marketing, using data to make informed decisions. He is also an excellent communicator, able to articulate complex ideas to both the team and clients. His leadership skills and business acumen make him well suited to take lead on any marketing campaign and drive growth for brands and clients.

Khakosi Khadija
I am Khakosi Khadija, an accountant by profession currently working as a Finance Officer at Cafe Africa Uganda. I have experience in financial management, tax compliance, bookkeeping, and statutory filings, including taxes with the Uganda Revenue Authority and NSSF returns with the National Social Security Fund. I am detail-oriented, organized, and committed to professionalism, accountability, and continuous growth in the finance field.

Wenyisa Moureen
Moureen is a business and finance professional passionate about community development, cultural preservation, and sustainable economic growth. With a background in accounting, finance, and business administration, she is committed to creating opportunities that empower youth, women, and local communities. Her interests lie in promoting cultural heritage, supporting tourism development, and building initiatives that transform traditional knowledge into sustainable livelihoods. Through her work, she seeks to bridge business innovation with community empowerment to create lasting social and economic impact.

Grace Nambafu
Grace is a journalist, media personality, and communications professional passionate about promoting culture, preserving heritage, and empowering communities through storytelling. With experience in television, digital media, and public communication, she plays a vital role in amplifying the foundation’s mission, showcasing community stories, and increasing awareness of cultural and development initiatives.
Holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and Media Studies from Victoria University, Grace brings expertise in media production, content creation, interviewing, and digital storytelling. Her work supports Kimaru Foundation’s efforts to preserve cultural heritage, engage communities, promote cultural tourism, and inspire positive social change.

Claire Selina Nangajja
Claire, popularly known as Maama Ghetto, is a social entrepreneur and community advocate dedicated to creating opportunities for underserved communities. As the Founder of Craft Continent and Executive Director of Ghetto Ministries Ltd, she has championed initiatives that connect local talent and informal economy workers to broader markets while promoting dignity, inclusion, and sustainable development.
Her passion for community empowerment, innovation, and entrepreneurship aligns closely with Kimaru Foundation’s mission of transforming culture into opportunity. Through her work, she continues to inspire inclusive growth, strengthen community participation, and support initiatives that empower individuals to build sustainable livelihoods while preserving their identity and heritage.

Amutuhaire Maryln
Maryln is a lawyer, communications professional, and social impact advocate passionate about leadership, community development, and creating opportunities that drive lasting change. As the Founder of Taraji Events and Corporate Affairs Director at GRO Foundation, she has built a reputation for fostering meaningful partnerships, strategic engagement, and initiatives that empower individuals and communities.
Her commitment to youth empowerment, sustainable development, and community impact aligns strongly with Kimaru Foundation’s mission of transforming culture into opportunity. Through her leadership experience and collaborative approach, Maryln contributes valuable insight in stakeholder engagement, partnerships, and community-driven initiatives that strengthen the foundation’s reach and long-term impact.

Gimei Jabbi Masumba
Jabbi is a multimedia specialist, media strategist, and creative industry leader passionate about storytelling, cultural promotion, and community empowerment. With extensive experience in radio broadcasting, content production, talent development, and public communication, he has played a significant role in amplifying local voices and celebrating the rich heritage of Eastern Uganda.
His dedication to promoting culture, nurturing young talent, and strengthening community engagement aligns closely with Kimaru Foundation’s mission of preserving heritage and creating opportunities through culture. Through media, creative arts, and strategic communication, Jabbi contributes to advancing cultural awareness, supporting youth development, and showcasing the value of indigenous traditions to wider audiences.
